Working with Kathleen has exceeded my expectations.  If you are on the fence about working with a nutritionist, stop equivocating, pick up the phone and set a date to sit down with Kathleen - you will be glad that you did.  Before working with Kathleen, I had never worked with a nutritionist.  Everything I knew about healthy eating I learned from online information, self-directed study and anecdotal advice from coaches at the gym.  I had been logging food and tracking calories for months, but it was all trial and error - I had hit a plateau in my weight loss journey and my progress at the gym had stalled out.  Kathleen and I met, discussed my goals, my eating habits and my overall health (think hydration, cravings, sleep, stress management, etc.) and Kathleen used that information to tailor a nutrition plan for me that was super-comprehensive.  With Kathleen's help, I changed the quality of the foods that I was eating and, somewhat counterintuitively, ramped-up my eating until I was eating an additional 900 kcal / day.   Even though I was eating much more food, within 1-month of working with Kathleen I hit my goal weight!  Something that had eluded me for over 6 months of going-it-alone.  Kathleen was available for questions, quick to respond and always helpful.  After that, it was all about maintaining my weight while building strength and lowering my BF.  Now I meet with Kathleen weekly, she checks in on my progress and makes adjustments to my plan as necessary to keep me on track.  I've kept my weight steady, I have more energy in my workouts, I've hit all sorts of new PRs at the gym and I'm leaner than ever.  Working with Kathleen has turned out to be one of the best things that I've done to improve my overall health and fitness.

There are really not enough endorsements I can give Kathleen. I first reached out to Kathleen because I was not feeling great and I did not accept feeling that way. While I had followed macro eating for many years combined with workouts something was no longer working for me. I was moody,  lethargic, had brain fog and lacked energy. I was also having hormonal issues and had not had a menstrual cycle for  Kathleen very quickly assessed what she felt the issue was and started the step by step process of getting me where I wanted to be. Within days I had renewed energy that I hadn’t felt in months and my mood swings cleared up rapidly. I started sleeping better and within a month had a regular cycle back. For the first time in my life at 43 I feel like I am no longer in a battle with my body. I enjoy my food, I feel satiated and have like the way I looked and felt consistently for almost 6 months. I recently started working with Kathleen on my strength and doing some online PT which I am really enjoying and definitely notice a difference in my strength levels and body composition.


I love working with Kathleen. I feel that her approach is based on the individual which is so important for lasting change. It is not one size fits all. And I feel Kathleen is able to take the information at check ins and know immediately any adaptions or changes that need to be made. In short she is excellent and I am happier than I ever remember being in the journey with my body.

I started working with Kathleen January 16, 2019. I came to her tipping the scales at 353lb, with type 2 diabetes and gout to the point I could barely walk. I was in a toxic work environment, hated life, was depressed and did not love myself. I was eating to kill myself. Everyday I got heaver and sicker. Today I have lost over 140lbs went from a 54 waist to 38 and 4XL shirt to XL. It’s surreal, my whole life has been changed. I was able to leave the toxic work environment and take the next step in my career, with more meaning and fulfillment. I fell in love with CrossFit, I run 5k and OCR races. I have finally started to love my self and began working on the underline issues that made me turn to food.  Kathleen saved me physically and mentally, she is a true god sent. Kathleen has become a true friend of mine I do not know where I would be without her.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Kathleen. I started CrossFit in April of 2019. After several months of consistent training, I was not seeing the results I was looking for. I decided to start working with Kathleen at the end of August 2019 and it has been the single greatest decision I've made in years. Kathleen has worked diligently with me every single week to explain, educate, inspire and motivate me to work hard. After working with Kathleen for 6 months, I've lost 40 pounds but more importantly than that, I feel confident that I am making healthy and smart choices when it comes to food and nutrition. 


In addition to nutrition, Kathleen has offered great insight on total wellness: mind, body and soul. Tips on mindfulness, dealing with anxiety and envisioning goals, Kathleen has helped me achieve goals beyond the scale. I cannot recommend her enough. She is hardworking, compassionate and will meet you where you are and help you reach those goals.

Since working with Kathleen, I have noticed an immense increase in my energy levels, quality of sleep, as well as confidence in the workouts.  With the macros and vitamins and strategies, I have also found to be completely cramp-free during my period.  For me, that has never happened before.
I have endless energy, the meals are not only delicious but satisfying, and I can fairly consistently perform the workouts "rx" which was one of my goals achieved through this work- I always FEEL so GOOD.  I've never felt this strong and confident ever before

I signed up to work with Kathleen because I have been going to crossfit for a year and found myself not having enough energy to sustain the workouts and plateauing in my weight loss.  I’ve always had issues is weight management, trying diets here and there, researching variety of things online that I assumed would work well for me.  Over the past few years I’ve drifted from roughly 270 pounds making my way down to and trying everything from fasting, 1 meal a day so and so forth.  I knew that none of these diets that I was doing before was going to sustain myself in these very intensive and fun crossfit workouts.  I found myself getting frustrated because I couldn’t put in as much effort in these workouts any longer and wanted to meet with Kathleen for some guidance.  To be honest, I was initially skeptical because I have gone to nutritionist before and was told certain things that did help, but weren’t very useful in this new phase of my fitness journey.  Now I couldn’t have been happier stepping through that door and asking Kathleen for some help.  She started off by making me feel really comfortable discussing some of my issues and frustrations in managing my weight and didn’t judge any of the crazy dietary strategies I was currently performing.  Once we got past those initial evaluations, it was game on, I provided her with a goal I had in mind and without hesitation she was able to lay out steps that were key in keeping me focused and accountable.  From here she was like a Google Search engine, having a plethora of knowledge and information in regards to my questions and concerns to back up her strategy she had in mind for me.  It was not easy at first, and I definitely had some obstacles to overcome but Kathleen always was there to help me manage expectations and always telling me to “trust the process” when I found myself in some doubt.  Now, we are continuing the journey, and modifying when needed, but I couldn’t be happier with my ability to sustain energy through a day and being happier with my transformation.  I guess you can’t write one of these things without a caveat, and the unfortunate part in going through this journey is that I’ve had to get rid of a bunch of clothes which is defiantly costing me.
