Frequently Asked Questions
How can I start working with you?
I recommend everyone start with a free 20 minute consultation! From there we will make sure we are a good fit, and will setup an initial consultation! Here is the link to schedule!
Do you offer group consultations or workshops?
I do not offer group consultations as every person has a different health history and wellness journey. However, I do offer generalized seminars and workshops. I will soon be offering a Wellness Education Retreat, follow this link to subscribe for updates!
Do you do Macros?
Macro-counting is a tool that we can use to help get a better understanding of the amount of nutrients your unique body requires. However, we are not robots! So while we can utilize counting macronutrients as a tool while getting started, I encourage and support clients in learning how to interpret their bodies signals so they can start eating intuitively.
What kind of clients do you work with?
I have worked with clients with type 1 & 2 diabetes, various autoimmune conditions, GERD, Candida, H.Pylori overgrowth and other GI issues, clients with eating disorders, PTSD, competitive athletes (weightlifters, ultra marathon runners), as well as clients who simply want to get healthier or get off of medications. Taking a root cause approach has been a key factor to success with varying client goals.
Do you offer Lab testing?
I work with Evexia Diagnostics and offer the GI MAP, MRT and various other lab tests as needed by each individual client. I also help clients navigate which tests they can get done through their primary care doctor and which would need to be outsourced.
Do you offer workout plans?
Personalized workout plans are an additional charge. I do offer exercise recommendations based on the clients specific goals and stress load, and offer support in matching each client with a local trainer or online program.
Do you do personal training?
I am available for online personal training sessions for current clients only.
How long is your program?
The Groundwork program is three months to start. After the introductory period of three months, clients can continue on a month-to-month basis, as needed or desired.
Does the Groundwork Program include Lab Testing?
No. The groundwork program does not include laboratory testing. Most clients see significant success without the need for in-depth testing. Testing is recommended to individuals on an as-needed basis, and something we will discuss if most arrows are pointing in that direction.
