About your Hosts!

My journey into the world of holistic nutrition began after spending over a decade using disordered eating as a coping mechanism to pain, disappointment and trauma. At the time when I was ready to step onto my healing journey I had also found CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting and knew that in order to be able to to show up and progress in those sports, I had no choice but to learn how to nourish my body and address the trauma that spurred my self-harming behaviors.

Over a decade later, I have competed in Olympic Weightlifting at the national level, reversed all 4 of my autoimmune conditions, attained high level certifications in Gut Healing and Hormone Optimization, and work full time teaching and training other practitioners and doctors on how to support the body to heal and repair by identifying the root cause, removing stressors and living a life that is aligned with human (and specifically: female) physiology.

It is my mission to help women understand how to thrive through aligned movement, non-restrictive dietary strategies, and tapping into their deep inner knowing!!

Retreats have become an incredible way to bring likeminded women together to work on a shared goal of learning how to call in the highest version of ourselves so that we can truly live to its fullest!

I am devoted to the world of movement and as such, have made it my career, now spanning 20 years.  I own a personal training studio in Boulder, Colorado where I work with individuals who seek to not only gain strength but also uncover their root causes of dis-ease.

I am no stranger to disordered eating nor body dysmorphia. Anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating had a strong hold on me for 15 years. Clinical treatments proved to be short term fixes so I turned inward and began a very introspective journey which I still use to this day.  Implementing journaling, hiking, art, and movement helped me to find inner peace which ultimately led to recovery.

My movement background ranges from competitive gymanstics & diving to bodybuilding & Crossfit.  I have found the best place for me is an area of training that is for me, not for any competition, and is solely rooted on training to be able to handle any task thrown my way.  Training for life.

I believe that most of us find ourselves with dis-ease because we don't love ourselves.  My mission is to help individuals become clear on their trauma and wounds, the coping mechanisms at hand, and then re-learn self care that is truly supportive, helping them step into the strong, capable, and confident individuals that they are.
